BMOD Gymnastics

Run, jump, climb, bounce, lift… smile! It’s an exciting morning for our children as they enjoy their own specially designed workouts at the Monarch’s Gym in Newbury Park. The children will exercise key motor skills while learning to improve organizational behavior and sensory integration – and having a blast in the process! Experienced and qualified coaches will be on hand to guide the children through the exercises. Teen volunteers will also be on hand to keep things spirited and well supervised.
Volunteers come at 11pm to enjoy the facilities!
No fee. Reservation required.

Sibling Bowling Event

Siblings of children with special needs often struggle with issues of their own. The Friendship Circle’s Sibling Bowling League provides opportunities for these siblings to get together with other brothers and sisters of special needs children. Before hitting the lanes at Woodlake Bowl, the kids get to enjoy a hot pizza dinner over which they can just laugh and chat with friends who can well relate to the very challenges they might be facing on the home front. The program and setting is completely social and informal, relaxed and upbeat – allowing participants to open up and share as they feel comfortable.
Fee: $5 per Sunday.
